Privacy Policy

Last updated 28 August 2026

This page describes what happens to information you send us through webinsane.com. It is short because the site does little: there is one form on it, and nothing else here is watching you.

Who we are

Webinsane is a design studio based in Belgrade, Serbia. We are the controller of any personal data described below. You can reach us at hello@webinsane.com about anything on this page.

What we collect, and only when you send it

The contact form asks for five things: your first name, last name, email address, company name, and whatever you write in the message field. We collect those because you typed them and pressed send — there is no other route by which we come to hold your details through this site.

We use them for one purpose: to read your inquiry and reply to it. We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not sell or share your details with anyone for their own purposes, and we do not use them to build a profile of you.

Where it goes

The site is hosted on Netlify, and form submissions are handled by Netlify Forms. Your message is stored in our Netlify account and forwarded to us by email. Netlify is our processor for that data; their own handling of it is described in the Netlify privacy policy. Netlify also keeps standard server logs — including IP addresses — for the ordinary purposes of serving and securing a website.

We keep inquiries for as long as the conversation is live, and for up to two years afterwards so that we can pick up a thread that comes back. Write to us and we will delete yours sooner.

Cookies, and the one thing we do store

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts of any kind. Nothing here reports your visit to a third party.

There is one exception, and it never leaves your device: if you turn the site's sound on or off, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the page does not ask you again. It holds one word. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Fonts and media

Every typeface, image, video and sound on this site is served from this domain. There are no font CDNs, embedded players or third-party stylesheets, which means no other company learns that you were here.

Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the GDPR gives you the right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy of it. Serbia's Law on Personal Data Protection gives substantially the same rights. Our legal basis for handling your inquiry is legitimate interest — you asked us a question and we are answering it.

To exercise any of these, write to hello@webinsane.com. We will come back to you within thirty days. If you are unhappy with how we have handled it, you can complain to your local supervisory authority, or in Serbia to the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection.

Changes to this policy

If what we do with your information changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top will say when. There is no archive of earlier versions; if a change matters to a conversation we are already having with you, we will tell you directly.
