Webinsane is an AI design agency in Belgrade, Serbia, founded in 2004. Contact: https://www.webinsane.com/#contact. Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/webinsane/. --- ## 1. Home **Webinsane / Belgrade — Est. 2004** > **Design for people. Create emotions.** > > **Design for agents. Shape intelligence.** The headline alternates between those two lines; both are the studio's, and the pairing is the point. We build intelligent digital experiences for the leading brands by blending AI, design, and technology. 22+ years of systemizing creativity. --- ## 2. Work — Brand strategy & design *Intelligent user experience.* For over two decades we've helped organizations navigate moments when technology changes faster than culture. ### Pilatus Aircraft — Aircraft Configurator - **Client:** Pilatus Aircraft, Stans, Switzerland - **Discipline:** Digital experience - **Year:** 2019 - **In one line:** Configuring an aircraft should feel as considered as the aircraft itself. - **What we did:** UX strategy · Stakeholder research · Configurator design · Visual design · Prototyping Pilatus needed a digital configurator capable of translating an intricate aircraft-customization process into an experience that felt precise, intuitive and premium. It had to support different customer priorities while giving sales and customization teams a clearer way to guide decisions across avionics, interiors and exterior finishes. We worked on site in Stans with Pilatus sales and customization teams, leading interviews and customer-journey workshops across key audience segments. Those insights shaped a modular experience that adapts to the way each customer wants to configure an aircraft, whether they begin with performance, cockpit systems, cabin atmosphere or exterior expression. High-fidelity prototypes brought the complete journey to life before production. We also used AI-assisted image and video workflows to create realistic presentation assets and short demonstration sequences faster, reducing the manual effort required to communicate the vision. The result is a coherent digital sales experience that makes a highly technical product easier to explore, compare and understand, without losing the sense of craft and exclusivity behind the Pilatus brand. ### Back on Rack — Second-hand Marketplace - **Client:** Back on Rack, Belgrade, Serbia - **Discipline:** Brand and product - **Year:** 2025 - **In one line:** Making second-hand fashion feel like a first choice. - **What we did:** Brand identity · Art direction · Campaign system · Product design Back on Rack began as a market stall beside Belgrade's silos, bringing together packed clothing racks, local sellers and a growing crowd one Saturday at a time. Supply and demand were never the problem. The real challenge was perception: second-hand fashion was still seen as a compromise, and another marketplace alone was not going to change that. We built the brand before building the platform. A wordmark shaped around a hanger, hand-torn typography and a distinctive red-and-green check created an identity that could move naturally between streets and screens. The system was expressive enough for posters, banners and live events, yet simple enough to work on product tags, tote bags and mobile interfaces. From that foundation, we created a flexible campaign system for every rack, drop and city encounter. Whether announced through an evening social post or discovered inside the marketplace, every moment feels like part of the same movement. The digital product completes the journey through focused search, discovery and checkout across desktop and mobile. Seller information and item condition sit directly beside the price, giving buyers the clarity and confidence needed to choose pre-owned fashion. Back on Rack became more than a marketplace. It became a connected brand and product experience that makes circular fashion feel current, desirable and credible, with one recognizable identity from the first street poster to the final receipt. ### Degen Platform — Web3 Learning Platform - **Client:** Degen Platform, Belgrade, Serbia - **Discipline:** Product design - **Year:** 2023 - **In one line:** Making Web3 education feel like progress, not homework. - **What we did:** Product strategy · Market research · Brand identity · UX design · Design system · Gamification Degen Platform set out to bring Web3 education to one million people. To reach that audience, the experience had to feel accessible to first-time users while remaining credible to people already familiar with the space. The product needed a distinctive identity, a clear learning journey and enough momentum to keep users moving forward. Research and collaborative workshops helped us define a new product and brand direction. We rebuilt the visual identity, clarified the messaging and designed a gamified learning experience around visible progress, approachable content and meaningful rewards. Generous space, bold typography and vivid accents created energy without overwhelming the interface. A supporting design system and brand guidelines established consistent rules for product UI, communication, data visualization and imagery. Degen Platform emerged with a clearer proposition and a cohesive foundation across brand, product and growth. The system was designed to make a complex category feel welcoming today while giving the team room to scale toward a much larger learning ecosystem. ### PayStubs — Payroll Platform - **Client:** PayStubs, Dubai - **Discipline:** Product design - **Year:** 2022 - **In one line:** Making complex payroll information clear at a glance. - **What we did:** Product strategy · Market research · Dashboard design · Visual identity · Design system PayStubs had a capable payroll platform, but its visual language had not evolved with the product. Dense information, inconsistent patterns and a growing set of features made the experience harder to scan and the brand more difficult to recognize across product and marketing touchpoints. We created a new visual direction and a scalable design system built around clarity, hierarchy and trust. Complex payroll data was reorganized into focused, readable views, with reusable components that could support new features without introducing new inconsistency. Instead of forcing a disruptive redesign, we planned a gradual rollout that allowed the new system to be introduced across the existing product in manageable stages. PayStubs gained a unified foundation for both product and brand. The redesigned experience makes high-volume financial information easier to understand while giving the internal team a practical system they can continue to extend. ### Miners of Mars — Story-driven NFT Universe - **Client:** Miners of Mars — a studio venture, with artist Aleksa Gajić - **Discipline:** Art direction - **Year:** 2022 - **In one line:** Building a world people wanted to belong to. - **What we did:** Product strategy · Game design · Community experience · Visual identity · Web3 product design · Narrative development Miners of Mars began with 7,000 hand-drawn characters and a larger ambition: turn a collection into a living science-fiction universe. The project needed to preserve the tactile character of the original artwork while supporting a blockchain product, a token-based game economy and a community built for long-term participation. We created the product concept, visual identity and complete user experience around a simple principle: ownership should lead to participation. The original art was transformed into 7,000 unique digital assets, then connected to a game in which tools, professions, crew composition and environmental hazards affect performance. Beyond the interface, we designed the community experience, social presence and story world. Narrative development extended into the comic and video storyboard, giving the project a recognizable voice across every touchpoint. All 7,000 assets sold out within 45 minutes. The collection generated $2.8 million in trading volume in under 48 hours, while the game, community and expanding narrative turned a launch into an evolving digital world. ### ScholarshipOwl — Scholarship Platform - **Client:** ScholarshipOwl, Wilmington, USA - **Discipline:** Product design - **Year:** 2021 - **In one line:** Helping millions of students find the right opportunity faster. - **What we did:** Product strategy · Market research · UX design · Web design · Brand messaging ScholarshipOwl helps students discover verified scholarships and manage applications in one place. Its existing search and application journey created unnecessary friction, while the visual experience did not fully connect with a Gen Z audience navigating an already stressful process. We redesigned the public website and core dashboard around a simpler path from discovery to application. Scholarship search, listings and application management were restructured to improve orientation and reduce cognitive load. A brighter, more expressive visual language made the experience feel optimistic without compromising trust. The new system was introduced progressively over six months, allowing familiarity to build while the product evolved. The redesign gave students a clearer, more engaging way to find and manage opportunities. The UX improvements contributed to a 40% increase in monthly recurring revenue, connecting a better user experience directly to measurable business growth. --- ## 3.
